Academic Support Volunteer (The ClementJames Centre)

Are you energetic and enthusiastic, and enjoy helping children and young people?

The purpose of academic support volunteers is to help local children from aged 8-18 years with their homework in a safe and stimulating environment. Volunteers will provide children with support by assisting them with their work, guiding their choice of worksheets, listening to them read and helping the children on the computers.

Sessions run at the following times:
4-5.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for secondary school students.
3.30-5pm Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for primary school students.

Commitment is once a week, term time.
