Treasurer -Trustee

Citizens Advice is a significant and successful part of a cohesive and vibrant voluntary sector in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We deliver a well-established and innovative range of advice services through our offices on Portobello Road and King’s Road, and via outreach locations in hospitals, the Town Hall and HMP Wormwood Scrubs.
Demand for our assistance has increased steadily in recent years.
Our service is free, independent, confidential and impartial. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join as treasurer and take overall responsibility for financial matters and ensure that the organisation complies with legislative and regulatory requirements in relation to financial affairs.
They can expect to work closely with the Chairman of the board of Trustees, the CEO, as well as providing support to the finance manager. They will chair a finance sub-committee which reports to the Board.
The post is an important and vital role in this challenging and diverse community stretching from Chelsea in the south to Notting Hill and North Kensington.

The Citizens Advice service helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information and advice, and by influencing policymakers.
They provide a free, confidential, independent and impartial advice service.
CAB also provide certificated training programme, recruit and train volunteers for admin, social policy and IT roles.
