This volunteer role offers scope for you to be creative and proactive. At Carers Network we want eager volunteers like you who can help us raise funds.
Support fundraising and logistics at events such as runs and other challenge events, community days and bucket-collections
Cheer Point duties may include cheering runners or other challenge event participants at a cheer point
Meet and greet duties may include setting up post-race receptions, congratulating events participants or ushering them to a reception venue
Welcome Team duties may include checking in attendees, helping event participants or guests as required
Other fundraising events may include bucket-collections, selling and promoting raffle tickets on behalf of the charity, cheque presentations
Clear up and pack down at the end of events
Devise new ways to promote the events
Put up posters and flyers internally and externally
It is envisaged that most of the events will take place in venues around London
You can organise your own fundraising events, such as a cake sale or sponsored run
Create marketing and promotional material for any event you may wish to organise
Support other fundraising opportunities such as bucket-collections, selling and promoting raffle tickets on behalf of the charity
Implement your own special flair and enthusiasm for promoting the Carers Network’s cause in support of raising funds

Core services include:Information - carers are offered an initial assessment and information about carers rights through to a Statutory Carers Assessment.
Specialist Support: We have an enhanced level of support, which may involve more in-depth casework, and advocacy.
Counselling Service: Carers are offered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions by a qualified and experienced therapist. And much more!
