You will be helping and assist a small group of women to learn basic English during their sewing class. The class will discuss, in English every day events as well as understanding the use of sewing materials, equipment, and accessories. They will also learn how to communicate effectively with their GP, write shopping lists and how access and get information from service providers such as the local council and utility companies.
About Dadihiye Somali Development Organisation
The main aim of Dadihiye is to cater for the needs of disadvantaged Somalis and other BME members improving their opportunities and future prospects:
Provision of professional advice, information, practical and moral support on a range of topics, including welfare rights and social issues.

Sewing Class. Held every Tuesday 10am-1pm The sewing class helps members of the Women's Group develop practical skills. Events Health Workshops Women's Group meeting and other activities.
