Zumba Instructor

As a qualified Zumba Instructor, you will have a passion to make Zumba mainstream and genuinely want to make a key difference to the health and wellbeing of unpaid carers. You will provide a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment to make a real impact on carers’ emotional wellbeing. This class can be delivered weekly or biweekly depending on your availability.
In response to our 2020 wellbeing survey, we asked carers to vote for their preferred wellbeing activities through Survey Monkey. Zumba scored very highly.

The role: Facilitate group Zumba sessions to carers Be able to alter sessions based upon the health needs of those who attend- some of our carers have long term underlying health conditions Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere where carers can relax and de-stress Work with the Volunteer Development Officer through sharing PAR-Q medical disclaimers and discussing participants suitability to exercise if numerous health issues arise Ideally you will deliver eight hourly sessions

Specialist Support: We have an enhanced level of support, which may involve more in-depth casework, and advocacy.
Counselling Service: Carers are offered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy sessions by a qualified and experienced therapist. And much more!
