About Dalgarno Trust

Dalgarno Trust is a dynamic charity that works with the local community members and in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organisations to create a strong, inclusive, vibrant and active community.

It runs a number of projects including Children and Youth projects, Healthy Lifestyle projects, community cohesion projects, regular community events such as the annual Village Street party and supports new and emerging groups and organisations. The Trust also runs its community centre every day of the week, which is home to many other community projects and activities such as supplementary schools, Carnival groups and the African Refugee Project.
The Trust works in North Kensington, the St Charles Ward, specifically in the Dalgarno estates area which is an area of high deprivation and disadvantage. It works with local residents who are on low incomes, long-term unemployed, on benefits, single parent families, refugees, and people from diverse black and minority ethnic communities.
