Our Maternity Champions are local volunteers who are trained to provide support and information for expectant and new parents through pregnancy, child birth and the transition into parenthood.
Working closely with midwives, health visitors, children’s centres and charities, Champions will be on hand to guide and support by sign posting to local services and to organise local community activities.
It’s a great role with lots of benefits, including accredited NCT and OCN training, a stepping stone for careers or higher qualifications in maternity or early years settings, references for future employment and much more!
