We all feel lonely at times and everyone’s experience will be different. In keeping with this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week theme of loneliness, we have put together a few activities that will get you out there meeting new people, having fun and keeping fit.
Wellbeing Art Workshop – Drawing Mandalas

Led by our artistic volunteer, this workshop will be a relaxing space to draw some mandalas. We will explore how creating patterns and symmetry can be part of mindful relaxing practice to help support mental health. All drawing materials will be provided.

Meditation With Jaya
Every Thursday, 4pm

Pranayama and guided meditation. Learn to optimize your breathing, cleanse and enhance your brain function and lung capacity. Maximising your life experience by learning how to breath and meditate with use of affirmations. Drawing from ancient practices, this is a way to reconnect and recharge your nervous system in the modern world which can have tremendous impact on your daily coping mechanisms in personal and scenarios.

We will be with Community Living Well at Kensington Leisure Centre, so drop in for a chat and a cuppa. Our focus will be on mental health awareness, and you will also be able to find out about mental health services in the borough.
