The Grenfell Projects Fund is now open for local residents, organisations and community groups.

This new £600k grant fund will be allocated in a new way using ‘Participatory Budgeting’, where local people will decide on which projects they feel best meets the outcomes they want to see in the local area. Participatory Budgeting is part of the new way of working with the community and follows the many conversations that have been held in north Kensington since the Grenfell tragedy.

Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are holding a Decision Day Event at the Harrow Club, 187 Freston Rd, W10 6TH for local residents to decide on which projects will be funded. The event can host up to 300 residents and is the maximum number the technology they will be using can accommodate.

To take part in the event you must:

  • be aged 18 years or over
  • live within North Kensington (this covers the following wards: Notting Dale, Norland, St Helen’s, Dalgarno, Golborne, Pembridge & Colville)
  • provide proof of address and identification

Registration is required to attend the event and then you will need to show your ID and proof of address before the event. Only one registration per person.
