The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea will be hosting a Coronation Lunch on Sunday 7th May 2023 12pm-3pm at The Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street. This special celebration lunch will be themed as a street party, but indoors, in the Great Hall. Get involved here:
Volunteer
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea need volunteers in various roles to help with the set-up and running of the Lunch:
- 16 volunteers for admin work (a few hours every week leading up to the event),
- 25 volunteers for event set-up the day before (Saturday 6th May), and
- 50 volunteers on the day of the event (Sunday 7th May)

Kensington & Chelsea’s Over 50s Forum are seeking guests who would enjoy a memorable afternoon and we would like to celebrate volunteering in the Borough. Priority will also be given to those with links to the Military.

This a Borough wide community celebration and so RBKC are asking local businesses, community organisations, churches and residents to support the event by donating cakes and bakes, help with decorating the hall, providing treats or entertainment for guests. All special and themed cakes will be displayed on a central table to be enjoyed by all.
