Our functions as a volunteer centre
- Enable local people to connect with, and participate in, community life, particularly by volunteering to help others
- Ensure that everything we do is accessible and inclusive, including for people in poverty, disabled and learning-disabled people, people experiencing mental ill health, people with criminal records, people newly arrived in the UK
- Promote volunteering and its benefits
- Create, develop and promote volunteering roles specific to Kensington and Chelsea
- Support local organisations with good volunteering practice
- Continue to champion volunteering whatever the challenges of the operating environment
