Open Age are currently looking for a friendly, supportive, and empatic volunteer to support our Monday discussion group. Volunteering activities will include providing a positive and welcoming environment, supporting with refreshments, and introducing guest speakers. We provide a wide range of physical, creative and mentally stimulating activities to enable older people to develop new skills, fulfil their potential and make new friends.
You will be able to volunteer in an organised and efficient way while using your own initiative.
Being empathic with older people and having a positive attitude to ageing will also be very important.

Open Age creates chances for Londoners over 50 to work, learn, take part, and stay healthy in body & mind.
We are an innovative, charitable, user led organisation built on the desire of older people to contribute to their own and others well-being. The aim is to promote the education, recreation, health and social welfare of people aged 50+ to improve their quality of life through a variety of low cost activities. These include a wide variety of physical exercise classes, computer classes, creative and performing arts, arts and craft groups, singing and music appreciation, language groups and a host of other activities to suit our user group.
