Are you interested in nature?
Have you ever experienced anxiety or social stress?
Are you an advocate for wellbeing?
Would you like to meet new people, try new challenges and learn new skills?
The Natural History Museum is looking for a group of volunteers from the local community for a project running on Tuesdays every two weeks between April and July this year. You will learn about the Museum’s astonishing collections,go behind the scenes and as experts by experience you will help design a new resource inspired by nature and wellbeing to help make the Museum accessible to everyone.
You will take part in a series of workshops with other volunteers to help develop a brand new resource that is inspired by the theme of Wellbeing. You’ll have the chance to trial the activities together with our experienced team, as well as interact directly with visitors in the Museum.
This is also an opportunity to get involved with the wider Learning Volunteer Programme which offers anyone over the age of 18 and from any background the support and training to develop their confidence, skills and knowledge to interact with our visitors, through a range of hands-on learning activities.
