Employing People with Criminal Records

Untitled design 32

Over 10.5 million people in the UK have a criminal record which represents a huge pool of potential talent, but yet 75% of employers discriminate against applicants on the basis of criminal records.

This course will help raise awareness about people with criminal records, how they can make a difference within your organisation and how we can help facilitate this.

From attending this course you will:

  • Develop the skills you need to strike the right balance between safeguarding and enabling people with criminal records to have equal access to education, training, employment and other opportunities
  • Develop good practice within your organisation
  • Be aware of recruitment tools and campaigns run by employers to support people with criminal records
  • Recognise successful stories through real life case studies

Duration: Full day
