Robert Darke

Head of Volunteering

I joined the team in January 2017, new year with a new and exciting job.

I have spent my career working with volunteers and community groups in various organisations such as wildlife trusts and museums. I thoroughly enjoy and thrive being part of and working within a community, creating new approaches to encourage community cohesion.

As a volunteer for Elizabeth Fry House, Reading Bike Kitchen and Chair of Trustees for Reading Voluntary Action, I implicitly understand the crucial role volunteers play in an organisation and the many benefits people gain from volunteering.  I believe that there is a volunteer role out there for everyone and a role that can make a positive difference.

I am very excited to be the Head of Volunteering, working across Kensington and Chelsea to promote and encourage volunteering.
